1. Rules
1.1. The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing – Windsurfing Competition Rules (WCR).
1.2. The International Funboard Class Association (IFCA) Championship Rules shall apply
1.3. The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Rules shall apply.
1.4. No national prescriptions will apply.
1.5. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.
2. Advertising
2.1. Sailors may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organising authority. ISAF Regulation 20 ‘Advertising Code’ shall apply.
2.2. Event branding shall be worn at all times when afloat, and as requested by the organisers during media interviews and during the prize giving.
3. Divisions
3.1. The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Torbole is open for men and women. There will be only one fleet.
3.2. The following special categories will be marked in the result and ranking lists and may be honoured at the prize giving:
3.2..1. A Youth (U20) shall be a girl or boy under the age of 20 (born in 1996 or later).
3.2..2. A Junior (U17) shall be a girl or boy under the age of 17 (born in 1999 or later).
3.2..3. A Master shall be a man over the age of 35 (born in 1980 or earlier), or a women over the age of 30 (born in 1985 or earlier).
3.2..4. A Grandmaster shall be a man over the age of 45 (born in 1970 or earlier), or a women over the age of 40 (born in 1975 or earlier).
3.2..5. Women
A minimum of 5 competitors is required to constitute a prize division.
4. Eligibility and Entry
4.1. All entries shall meet the requirements of ISAF Regulation 19 – Eligibility Code.
4.2. Competitors shall be members of a National Class Association which is a paid up member of the international class association, or of the IWA. Membership formalities can be completed on site.
4.3. The minimum age to participate in this regatta is 12 years.
4.4. All competitors shall register via the official Website of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup: http://euro-cup.org/registration-2/
4.5. The entry fee shall paid by bank transfer to the following account:

4.6. The entry fee may also be paid in cash (only accepted currency is €) at the inscription. This will incur a late entry fee of € 30,-.The competitors who want to take part at the Trofeo Neirotti/Italian Slalom Tour may pay 20 euro in cash at the inscription.
4.7. All competitors shall finalize their registration personally at the inscription.
4.8. The following shall be presented upon registration:
– Card of National Class Association and/or Sailing Federation (if a competitor doesn’t have these cards he must show a valid competitive medical certificate). We remind that all the Italian competitors must show the card of the Italian Windsurfing Association (AICW) and the card of the Italian Sailing Federation with a valid competitive medical certificate “B”.
– Evidence of valid third party insurance
– Proof of age
– Emergency Contact & Health Information Form – for those under age of 18
5. Fees
5.1. The entry fee are:
100 euro for the Windsurfing Euro-Cup only
120 euro for the Windsurfing Euro-Cup plus Trofeo Neirotti/Italian Slalom Tour
5.2. Late entries registered and/or paid after the registration deadline April 13th 2015 (10 days before the inscription day) will incur a surcharge of € 30,-.
6. Race format
6.1. The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Torbole is an open entry regatta for men and women.
6.2. Competitors shall race a maximum 4 elimination series per day.
6.3. One completed slalom round (including the final) is required to validate the regatta.
7. Schedule
Wednesday, April 22nd (Inscription day):
10 am -1 pm / 2 pm-5 pm Registration
Thursday, April 23rd (first competition day):
9-11 am Late registration
12 am Skippers meeting
13 am First possible warning signal
Friday, April 24th to Saturday, April 25th:
12 am Racing
Sunday, April 26th (final competition day):
3 pm Last possible warning signal
6 pm Prize giving ceremony & party
Departure
7.1. The first possible warning signal will be made each day at 12 hrs except the 23rd. The Race Committee could modify the warning signal according to the wind conditions.
7.2. There will be a daily skippers meeting one hour before first possible warning signal.
8. Equipment and Equipment inspection
8.1. An Equipment Inspection Form, which will also be available at registration, shall be returned to the Event Equipment Inspector before the end of registration.
8.2. Equipment inspections may be made at any time during the event.
8.3. Sail Numbers. The Equipment Inspectors will pay special attention to sail identification rule compliance. A discretionary penalty of 1 point may be imposed for every slalom elimination series sailed with sail numbers that are not complying.
9. Sailing instructions
9.1. The sailing instructions (SI’s) will be available upon registration. Any changes to the SI’s shall be approved by the Class Representative.
10. Courses
10.1. Courses will be as described in the IFCA Championship Rules or as prescribed in the sailing instructions or published on the official notice board (ONB).
11. International jury
11.1. An International Jury may be appointed in accordance with RRS Appendix N. There shall be no appeal from their decisions in accordance with RRS B10-70.5(a)
12. Scoring
12.1. Appendix A and RRS B10 applies.
12.2. IFCA Championship Rule 8.1.1 The Low Point system shall be used however the points for the first place shall be 0,7.
13. Coaches and support boats
13.1 Coaches and support boats shall be registered with the organiser. Private motor boats are not permitted on this section of the lake without the “temporary permission” granted through the host club. Support boat drivers shall have a valid boat licence and third party liability insurance. Limited charter may be available and may be applied for by contacting the office of Circolo Surf Torbole
14. Safety
14.1. If personal buoyancy is prescribed every competitor and support boat crewmember shall wear a personal lifevest (flotation) that shall conform to the minimum standard ISO 12402-5 (Level 50).Protests among competitors won’t be accepted.
15. Prizes and Titles
15.1. Trophies shall be awarded to the following competitors:
1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place overall, best Youth (U19), best Junior (U17), best Master (over 35), best Grandmaster (over 45), best women for Windsurfing Euro-Cup.
1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place overall Italian Slalom Tour, 1st Junior , 1st Master, 1st Grandmaster, 1st women Italian Slalom Tour.
1st place, Trofeo Neirotti
15.2. A prize fund of € 5.000,00 (net of taxes) shall be distributed according to the Euro-Cup Rules.
16. Official ceremonies
16.1. Competitors are requested to attend the event’s social functions; however, the organising authority may refuse entry to those whose standard of attire is not commensurate with the occasion. Prize winners may forfeit prizes for non-attendance at the prize giving ceremony.
17. Disclaimer of liability
17.1. Competitors participate in the event entirely at their own risk; see WCR 4 – Decision to Race. The organising authority or any of their officials or representatives or the sponsors or their officials or representatives will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the event.
18. Insurance
18.1. Each participating competitor shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of € 3.000.000,00 euro per event or the equivalent.
19. Right to use name and likeness
19.1. In registering for the event, competitors automatically grant to the Organising Authority the right in perpetuity to make, use, modify and show from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproduction of them, taken during the period of the event, for the said Event as defined in the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions in which he/she participates without compensation
